Behörden terrorisieren Familie von vermeintlichem ehemaligem Mitglied der Roten Armee Fraktion (RAF)
"Im Frühjahr durchsuchte das #Landeskriminalamt Niedersachsen die Wohnung einer Schwester von Burkhard Garweg in #Frankfurt am Main. Außerdem wurde ein Hotelzimmer in #Hamburg, in dem dessen Bruder und Schwägerin übernachtet haben sollen, durchsucht. Des weiteren wurde die Wohnung der Eltern in Hamburg gerazzt. Bei der Aktion wurden auch Handys und Laptops beschlagnahmt. Schwester und Bruder sollen Beamte auch #DNA-Proben entnommen haben, bei den Eltern soll dies bereits vor etwa zwei Wochen passiert sein.
Dieser Terror erklärt sich dadurch, dass neben Burkhard auch Daniela Klette und Ernst-Volker Staub seit über 30 Jahren abgetaucht sind. Ihnen wird vorgeworfen an den Aktionen der RAF gegen Rohwedder von der Treuhand 1991 und den Abschiebeknast in Weiterstadt 1993 beteiligt gewesen zu sein."

What do you think is happening on this gel? PCR amplicons of same locus from cells with and w/o CRISPR nucleases. CRISPR results in mutations of different length, BUT smear is surprisingly uniform and extends to large fragments - larger than the ext. time in our PCR would allow.
An overlay of real sequence diversity at the target locus and a technical artefact?
