A week after in Brussels I'm still impressed by the quality of the sessions. Most inspiring for me was the closing keynote by @ssnstudy@twitter.com as some gourmet food for thought. Thanks again, Alessandro Acquisti!

In de wereld is geen ruimte meer voor de mens:
"Fascinating keynote by Nina Schick on AI generated content that is indistinguishable from real content. Basically her predictions mean consent would be dead as a lawful ground to process personal data, as AI would be able to generate consent too.

Bravo !

Sooner or later, there will be an attempt to provide agencies w/ access to amassed in datasets, for very good reasons. This data will be accessible and reusable. We should be attentive as this will come with risks @W_Wiewiorowski@twitter.com @PrivacyPros@twitter.com 2/2

Saw a tweet from discussions at referring to Vint Cerf who in the past, asserted that privacy may be an anomaly. I don't agree. Looking back at the historical cultural concepts of privacy - it's never been an anomaly. It's not an anomaly to those I meet on my travels.

Here's a 2013 article. cnet.com/news/privacy/vint-cer

"Cerf said that "privacy may be an anomaly," warning that "it will be increasingly difficult for us to achieve" it. But at least some of the fault lies with us."
