warum berichtet Ihr so unreflektiert über Pleasure-Tripps auf #Migrationsrouten ?

Ich mag viele Sachen, die Ihr macht, aber bei der obengenannten Reportage bin ich doch mehr als erstaunt, wie ihr die Querung des #DarienGap darstellt: Ich finde den Bericht ohne eine Bezugnahme auf die vielen Migranten, die Schleppern ausgeliefert und ohne entsprechende Ausrüstung den Darien Gap durchqueren müssen, dazu noch als #Papierlose viel mehr Gewalt und ganz anderen Gefahren ausgesetzt sind, sehr zynisch.

Das wäre vergleichbar mit einer Reisereportage von neusten Scheiß, der im Gegensatz zum Darien Gap nicht mal einen Transatlantikflug braucht, weil irgendein Reiseveranstalter neuerdings Schlauchbootüberquerungen übers Mittelmeers anbietet. Es sterben im Darien Gap jedes Jahr zuviele Erwachsene und Kinder(!), um das unreflektiert als Luxus-Pleasure Trip zu bewerben.

Sorry, aber da erwarte ich mehr Hintergrundrecherche bevor man sowas raushaut.

O-Ton in der Reportage (ab ca. min 20): "...was ich nicht verstehe, warum bringt man sich freiwillig in so eine große Gefahr und wer denkt sich sowas aus?..."
Da gibt es tausende Menschen, die sowas machen müssen, weil der Kapitalismus sie reinzwingt und dann so ein O-Ton.

Hauptsache das Thema Dschungel ist neuerdings "der Hype" und nicht mehr "nerdig" (Selbst ca in min 21.30 wo es passen gewesen wäre, wird Migration nicht erwähnt.)

Es das Video triggert soviel gerade als jmd der in Ecuador gerade tägtäglich aufgezeigt bekommt welche Privilegien "wir" (im globalen Norden) sowieso schon haben und dann macht man Pleasure-Tripps auf Migrationsrouten. Ernsthaft? Da läuft doch was schief.

Quellen für die Zahl der Toten auf solchen Migrationsrouten liefert Euch sicher #Katapult oder ähnliche Quellen. Wenn Ihr von mir da Zahlen und sonstige Infos zum Thema Darien Gap braucht, kann ich Euch auch gerne was raussuchen.

I just saw on Sky News a report by #StuartRamsay about the #DarienGap.

This is an almost impenetrable stretch of jungle in south-Panama. The Pan-American Highway has a gap there of 100 kilometers. There is no road, even the hardiest cyclists have to take a ferry. A Swedish backpacker was killed by the FARC.
