Truer words were never spoken, and that's why, if you come across any you and/or others find valuable, I very strongly urge you to back it up and archive it anywhere you can, in as many places you can, be it OneDrive, Dropbox, the Internet Archive or your own website or file storage server. .... you know the best data archival system in existence, no?

DNA.

Horseshoe crabs are 10 times older than the Himalayas and yet the wee beasties keep passing down that info, year on year, generation on generation. Then don't even use iron in their blood, they're that ancient.

Once we move to a molecular system that's error-correcting like DNA, *then* we can talk about true data archival.
