Here’s a Q for all the data #journalists statisticians or data scientists on here: I’ve been looking at some #Data provided by companies to an industry regulator and received the same dataset in January and again this month. But I’ve noticed the figures for previous years have been changed retrospectively. Is that normal? #datascience #statistics #ddj #DataJournalism

Does anyone have a reliable way to scrape a JS object from a page with #rstats?

What I mean is there's an inline <script>var data = {}</script> that I need, and I'm not a big fan of my current approach of trying to regex it out differently every time.
