Every year, on the 30th of August, the world observes the International Day of the Victims of Enforced Disappearances. This solemn occasion serves as a reminder of the countless individuals who have been torn from their families, their lives shattered by the cruelty of enforced disappearances. In particular, this year, we commemorate over 112,000 individuals who have fallen victim to this grave violation of human rights.
