I've been back burner-ing revising a R21 while wrapping up a grant for my core research, which was due today.

The R21 will take me into a totally new area of research that is super exciting but I need a lot of help from a colleague- because it's a !really! new direction.

I just checked the deadlines and whelp-it's going to be a fun 12 days!!

I told the colleague they could kibosh this, and they said 'Full steam ahead!!'

Halp - my #ADHD brain can’t take the level of boredom inspired by these #writing briefs 😭 Trying to focus on the rewards of completing it - getting to work on #hobbies, not having to stress about #deadlines - but keeping on task is feeling close to impossible. Are blinkers for brains a thing??

Second cup of #coffee at 9PM to boost my tired brain. Because #deadlines.

I did not get as much done today as I wanted, but I also don't have the spoons to stay up any later to finish a few things. My pain level was inexplicably high, requiring me to slow down and even take a nap for a while. Even though I felt better, I'm still wiped. Tomorrow I'm overbooked and will need to finish what I didn't complete today. Ugh.

At least I'm very pleased with what I did get finished.
