Still going! I had less opportunity to post about my progress.

It’s still that residential level, with parks, stores, houses, and now, we are drawing a high school, my daughter and I.

She asked me to draw a church, next, so this is what I’ll do next week.

One thing about random tables that I think gets overlooked sometimes is that they can sometimes provide inspiration by giving you a crap result.

I was using the tables in #StarsWithoutNumber for #DeathInSpace prep, and they gave me results that absolutely did not fit what I was doing, but they also forced me to come up with something that did fit.

SWN’s table are great, btw. I highly recommend it if you don’t already have a copy.

Week 10 & 11

Since the beginning of March, I draw my rooms with my daughter sitting on my lap. She is the one giving me promts. This is why we see a park, a skatepark, a public swimming pool, etc.

I think it’s a cool ritual that helps me stay on track.

Starting Level 3 with a playground and a skate park. This level is more residential in nature. Got the inspiration from my toddler.

Week 10

The last rooms of level 2 are a Psychic Bondage club and a recharging vats room. People went there to indulge their psi-kinks.

Level 3 starts with a good ol’ playground… with a weird teddy bear.

Added a bowling club+virtual ping pong place, a Lazerquest center, and an all-you-can-eat buffet that still has edible food… guarded by giant rats.

I decided Level 2 would be where they manufacture drugs, booze, etc. It’s also going to be the red light/entertainment district.

Trying to prep a #DeathinSpace session, and it never ceases to amaze me how much my brain fights me when putting together maps and stuff. Not even complicated ones, just… basic shit. Super frustrating.

Final room for the level!

A server room now converted into a prison for enslaved AIs. They have gone mad but can provide insights like oracles.

Tomorrow, we start a whole new level. This means I also need new random encounters.

Week 5 starts with a bang!

The injured octopus-like creature (that lost a tentacle in 17) found the synthmeat processing plant. It gobbled most of the stuff down and is angry/hungry!

I like how there’s a story being generated in this level. Had no intent, it just emerged by itself.

Week 4 completed!

Last room is a place where they performed the experiments and autopsy. But something went very wrong and now, we kinda know why there is a severed tentacles in the elevator at 17.
