Stayed up too late again. This time it was to install #Debian12 into an old Chromebook.
I really had the impression that ChromeOS was a lightweight OS. But after installing Mate Desktop the machine is actually snappy.
Was able, for the first time, do a screen share in a video call:
+ Running Wayland
+ AMD Videocard
+ Triple monitor setup
And it worked fairly effortlessly. We'll see how Zoom does latter. Sometime Zoom is behind the curve technology wise.
All this because of #Debian12.
Testing debian12 kde-plasma Live ISO made with Rufus on a Windaube10.
smalls issues:
- Colors of boot menu not that clear :)
- Got a minor error on live launch and install launch.
- Loading state of loading not that clear, black screen with the mouse visible for less than a minute before KDE plasma loading screen.
- What is the user default password ?
Anyway big congrats, it works really good with default driver even with my 3070ti !! THANKS FOR THE AMAZING JOB !!

$ sed -i 's/bullseye/bookworm/g' /etc/apt/sources.list
rajouter "non-free-firmware"
$ sed -i 's/non-free/non-free non-free-firmware/g' /etc/apt/sources.list
I went ahead and installed #Debian12 on my laptop. Decided not to wait until the release.
HOLY HECK IS THIS SYSTEM NICE!
