Wer ist Debt for Climate (DC)?
Wir sind eine globale #Graswurzelbewegung, die vom Globalen Süden angeführt wird. Dabei wollen wir Arbeiter*innen, indigene, feministische, Glaubens-, Umwelt-, Sozial- und #Klimagerechtigkeitsbewegung|en im Globalen Norden und Süden vereinen.
Wir fordern die Finanzschulden des Globalen Südens zu streichen.

#DebtforClimate kämpft für #Klimagerechtigkeit in Form von Schuldenerlass. Wie sie, halten auch wir einen Erlass aller #Schulden des globalen Südens bei der Weltbank und dem Internationalen Währungsfonds für die absolute Minimalvoraussetzung für sozial gerechten #Klimaschutz.

Ein Mitbegründer der Kampagne, @EstebanServat, wird nun von #TotalEnergies verklagt, weil er mit anderen den Sitz des Unternehmens in #Kopenhagen besetzte. Der Prozess beginnt schon morgen.
