For the past few days, I've been watching two YouTube videos repeatedly throughout the day.

The first is the #music #video for #RM's "Closer," where this beautiful #song is paired with footage from #ParkChanWook's #DecisionToLeave. It's great for triggering the feels.

Is there something better than watching a #film that's so good that you're totally engrossed and unable to keep your eyes off the screen?

YES. Imagine a #movie that's such an audiovisual feast that you don't want the beauty to end, so you keep pausing it, unable to take in more than ten or so minutes' worth.

Also, why did no one say that #DecisionToLeave employs humour so well, especially in the first forty minutes I've seen so far?

Rattrapage ciné 2022 : #DecisionToLeave direct à la première place de mon top films de l'année. Un thriller mélodramatique somptueux à la Vertigo où Park Chan-wook abuse un peu moins de ses effets de manche habituels, malgré un parti-pris de montage audacieux qui prend malgré tout le risque de paumer le spectateur en cours de route. Surtout PCW reste le king incontesté du papier peint au cinéma — allez zou je fais mon coming out : j'ai une passion déraisonnable pour les jolis papiers peints.

Saw Park Chan-wook’s “Decision to Leave” this afternoon. Spent at least a good half of the film not knowing what the hell was going on. Great movie! Definite candidate for a second watch.
