I think it only turned into a suicide mission when Kira sabotaged the cloak. Before that he was doing hit and run attacks to pull warships out of position so he could hit the supposed secret Cardassian military base.

Yeah, the intelligence on that system must be DAMN important for the #Cardassians to not blow the #Defiant out of quadrant for violating their sovereignty and firing on #Cardassian assets.
If not blow it up, I'm surprised the Cardassians didn't demand a full scan of the ship for their own intelligence.🤔

The #StarTrek #Defiant is 51 cm by 38 cm, designed by Paul Walther and distributed on gambody. It is equiped with WS2812B #LEDs driven by a #Raspberry Pi #Pico. I use the #Prusa #I3MK3S+ #3dPrinter. Even it is the stoneage ancestor of the #StarTrek replicators, I´m fascinated by this technology

I don't f-in believe it. You *can* actually remove a logo from stainless steel using... table sugar. Without scratching the steel.
Apparently (Internet lore goes) the hardness of sugar is less than stainless steel, but greater than just about anything used to put graphics on it. True or not, fact is, it works - see attached photo (left: pristine, right: after a bit of scratching with table sugar on electrician tape).
Now I can finally finish my #DIY #DS9 #Defiant mug conversion project.

1. D7 Schlachtkreuzer Getarnt der #klingonen - das wird einfach, da muss nur der Ständer gebaut werden 😅 580 Teile
2. Die USS #Defiant NX-74205 für #ds9 - 2856 Teile 😊
Das wird wieder ein schöner und beruhigender Bau nach dem Aufenthalt im 🏥 .
Wahrscheinlicher Start so gegen den 24.10. Bleibt gespannt 🤩
