Well I did it I deleted the #birdapp from my device a thing I did a while ago with the #faceapp when it became clear to me *that* CEO is evil so well #DejaVuAllOverAgain and like with that one I didn’t delete my account because there are a lot of moments memories history I can’t see just flushing that away.

Anyway, I’ve been liking it well enough here. I like my new little network.

I do miss #MattYglesias ’s takes though. If any of you know him please tell him he needs to come on over.

@bob The toxic sludge problem is another aspect.

It's one thing for Mastodon / the Fediverse to deal with a bunch of instances ranging from a handful of users to upwards of a half-million or so.

Having All of Twitter invade ... #EternalSeptember #DejaVuAllOverAgain

The Fediverse does have the option of muting / limiting specific instances, but across the entire federated network, that would still result in an overwhelming impact and influence by a hypothetical Twitter engagement.
