Mi hijo de 4 años hizo este dibujo para #DeltaChat, #DeltaLab el sabe que yo uso mucho esta aplicacion y es unas de mis favoritas, de uso diario, pero mi hijo no se olvida de Delta Chat!!!!

If you need secure 1:1 chat, #XMPP-#OMEMO is the way to go. You could even use something like #DeltaChat which is based on PGP/MIME-eMail and allows you to keep stuff #E2EE - encrypted yet also save a history which you'll get sync'd across devices.

Whilst #DeltaChat as IM is interesting, I personally don't see much benefit compared to #XMPP & #Zulip or even #IRC when it comes to encrypted comms...

I wrote "Building an #Asynchronous, Internet-Optional Instant Messaging System" today. It suggests using #DeltaChat (@delta) across an #email system that can run on non-IP networks to achieve #IM coverage without having to have an Internet backbone, using things like #NNCP, #Syncthing, #Filespooler, and such. I love the ways we can combine interesting tools like this!
