Saint Anne's Chuch in Dennistoun. Designed by Jack Coia (of Gillespie, Kidd and Coia) and built in 1931, this was the first of many iconic churches created by one of Scotland's most famous and influential architectural firms.

East End Twins: The identical winged figures by William Kellock Brown, both created from the same mould in the early 1900s. The left hand one is from the top of Parkhead Library, the one on the right is from Dennistoun Library, both in the east end of Glasgow.

A wonderful circular corner bay window topped by a Glasgow Style dome and finial on a tenement on Whitehill Street in the east end of Glasgow. I always love coming across features like these as they are so typical of the city's everyday architecture.

Automatic Telephone Manufacturing Company access cover found today in the Dennistoun area of Glasgow. I love it when I come across one of these. The logo is wondefully art nouveau and they're between 91 and 111 years old. This is only my third one from the streets of Glasgow.

The imposing Art Deco style entrance to the former Wills Tobacco Factory on Alexandra Parade in the east end of Glasgow. Designed and built by the Imperial Tobacco Company on the late 1940s.

Statue of William 'Buffalo Bill' Cody in Dennistoun, Glasgow.
This statue was erected in 2006 to mark 115 years since Buffalo Bill brough his wild west show to the east end of Glasgow, where they performed sell-out shows for four months.

This is because all three were the work of the same sculpture, and indeed were even cast from the same mould!
