The closed center of Holsbeek, located on the outskirts of Leuven, is the only one of the 6 closed centers in Belgium that only locks up women.
On August 16, 2023, a 58-year-old woman was found unconscious in her room. It seemed that she hadn't eaten for several days and that no one had noticed. Everyone was shocked to see her in this state. She was brought to the hospital. “We didn't know if she was dead or alive”, bring in the inmates.

This event sparked strong protests. They are about twenty inmates to demonstrate this day against their confinement. One of the women who rebelled was put in the dungeon. The director, who was in her office, did not even bother to come to them to listen to their demands.

Jako ludzie pracy, musimy przeciwstawiać się rasistowskiej polityce rządu i pomagać migrantom, tak jak na granicy PL-BY.
