I just learned about the COOLEST program! It's called "Letters to a Pre-Scientist" and if you sign up, you volunteer to be a pen pal to a kid and help them get excited for a career in a #STEM field! It’s my own fault. I knew what I needed to do but was too lazy to type it out. After several goes, ChatGPT declared that I had to use JS.

I spent the afternoon giving it increasingly detailed instructions while it gave me a mix of non-working code and “use JS”.

I wound up giving it the right code and saying “Look! This is how you do it! Without JS”

Laziness + stubbornness = three and half hours producing twenty minutes of CSS.

Every few days I have a conversation with someone at work where they tell me one neat idea and I just spiral and learn A LOT of things super quickly.

Most recently, our head of engineering taught me about pressing control+space inside VS Code when you’re placing dot operators, parentheses, curly brackets, or honestly anything anytime anywhere.

ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! THIS HAS BEEN HERE THE WHOLE TIME? I feel so dumb. I’ve worked so much harder for NO reason.
