@monnier either way, #SystemD is a "necessary evil" at worst, like #Pipewire and #Wayland, it solves a shitload of issues that were neglected so much over decades that all the haters that complain about it should've instead made a better solution themselves...

And the toxicity of SystemD-Haters and #Devuan and/or #Emacs-fans (basically they are all the same group AFAICS) is the reason we've got preemtive moderation aka. closed comment sections and banwords.

@Haydar Unlike migrating people and businesses from #Windows and #macOS to #Linux there is no added benefit in cringeworthy hatemongering not just against #SystemD but it's core maintainer, by the #Devuan project.

In fact, I'd call this just as #ValueRemoving and toxic as #FSF personnel and #Stallman fans mobbing peoole for not using #GPLv3.

All that time and money wasted could've been instead invested in fixing actual issues!!!

Espechally since a lot of FLOSS projects are not good at #forking where it's necessary (#VScode being a good example, but usually you get shitty bs forks noone asked for like #Devuan)...

In the end, it's vital to avoid toxic #LockIns and use #MultiVendor / #MultiProvider solutions wherever possible.

In fact, I don't mind paying for #CCSS if it's a good product that just works for me.
