Since everyone's done with their "bUt It'S aN #xMaS mOvIe" viewing of #DieHard, just a few notes about the Ellis:
1. Ellis could've saved his own ass at any time by giving up that Holly was John's wife, but didn't, so he isn't the scumbag you all pegged him as. (Douchebag, yes. Scumbag, no.)
2. The actor that played Ellis is named Hart Bochner, who also played a scumbag in Breaking Away. And more recently in The Dropout.
3. Hart was actually a total motherfucking smokeshow.
