In terms of 60's psychedelia, drug intake, and excess, German bands played harder than most, and certainly went beyond most reasonable boundaries (in fact, they weren't particularly concerned that the 60's were technically over). A case in point is the strange story of the Cosmic Jokers, which included members of #AshRaTempel, #TangerineDream, #DieterDirks, and ungodly quantities of LSD.
