This was one of the first Foxglove plants to flower. However, since then there have been many others flowering in any of the different parts of the woodland. I really like the shape and pattern on these flowers.

I'm finally accepting that deep-shade loving plants are the only thing that will grow in the border right outside my home office. So I'm digging up endless foxgloves from around the garden and replanting them here, looking forward to a beautiful June with spires of digitalis.
