After an episode of extra exploitation and unconditional power of capital - funneling underpaid staff in code factories where they supervise machines mass creating software, updates, and patches - that horror oncf again will be outsourced to periphery (cf Wallerstein), and Etsy will be full of hand-coded Tamagochis and instructions to code them yourself - in assembly. Esoteric entrepreneurs will argue that coding yourself unleashes a creativity and wholesomeness unmatched in quality by machines. Finally, human-made digital media will enter the holy realm of tradition and 'how nature has intended it'.
GPT chatbots will rejoice.

#Digitization is sometimes a tough process that requires many small steps. This is no different in #archiving, where quite a few historical pieces have already been digitized, while numerous documents in #archive basements are still awaiting further processing.
