🇦🇹🚂🚃 On the journey's last part from the border to #Zagreb🇭🇷 a nerve-wracking slow speed is dominat. Time for a stroll through #ÖBB's beautiful consist with 2nd & 1st class carriages as well as a bicycle storage & a #diningcar, which will run only between Vienna and Graz from 4th Sept. 2023 as EC 358/359 "Croatia" 😭.

🇦🇹🌭 The journey continues with EC159 "Croatia" through nice #Slovenia🇸🇮. The sun sets beautifully over the Lavantal Alps🏔 while slowly progressing towards #Zagreb🇭🇷. I'm the only guest at the wonderful #ÖBB🇦🇹 #diningcar & I enjoy my stay with a pair of Viennese sausages with mustard, horseradish & a Kaiser roll 😍!

🇦🇹🥣 But let's continue this wonderful trip with EC159 "Croatia" towards #Zagreb🇭🇷. This train winds up beautiful #UNESCO WHS "Semmering🏔 Railway" with scenic views 😍! At the wonderful fully-fledged #ÖBB🇦🇹 #diningcar I went for a classical beef broth with semolina dumplings & organic spinach dumplings with a romato & fennel ragout.

🇦🇹🔄🇭🇷 From Monday 4th Sept. 2023 the train will be split up in #Graz🇦🇹 and a change there will be needed.

➡️ EC 158/159 "Croatia": Graz-Zagreb (Only two 2nd class carriages, 1x SŽ+1×HŽ, no dining car)
The reason for this is presumably the huge delays from 🇭🇷/🇸🇮 on a daily basis.

🇸🇮🍳☕️ This is a true classic on Austrian🇦🇹 rails: Having a decent ham&eggs🍳 breakfast with a nice cappuccino☕️ at the unique #SŽ🇸🇮 #diningcar with EC151 "Emona" while enjoying the stunning scenic views alongside #UNESCO World heritage site "Semmering Railway" 😍! Simply amazing!

🇩🇪🚄 "Bitte ein Bit!" - Asia style wok-noodles🍜 as well as pork medallions in pepper cream sauce with mashed sweet potatoes together with a decent freshly tapped German lager🍺 that's why I love the #DB🇩🇪 #diningcar. Very nice service and delicious meals on ICE91 "Donauwalzer" from #Bonn🇩🇪 to #Vienna🇦🇹 👌!

🇦🇹🥐☕️ This was a wonderful brunch at RJ860's @unsereOEBB🇦🇹 #diningcar. We went from #Vienna🇦🇹 to #Vöcklabruck while enjoying a delicious "Emperor's breakfast" and sweet curd cheese dumplings with buttered breadcrumbs & stewed apricots 🤩😋!

Da hätten wir noch das Mittagessen im ICE91 von Frankfurt nach Wien. Nach Nürnberg serviert (ab ca. 12:30), da vor Nürnberg Buffet geschlossen. Aber wir hatten sowieso schon gute Verspätung wegen diverser unterschiedlicher Pannen auf der Strecke (zuerst Leute, dann defekter Güterzug), was sich bis Passau auf 60 Minuten erhöhte, bis Wien dann wieder auf 35 Minuten zusammenschmolz.

🇨🇭🚄🍽 This it is supposed to be 🤩. What a wonderful ride with an ETR610/RABe503 as EC199 from #Zürich🇨🇭 to #Munich🇩🇪. We were enjoying SBB/elvetino's signature dish at the #diningcar: "Ghackets mit Hörnli", minced beef with macaroni & Panna cotta for dessert 😍!

🇫🇷🤝🇨🇭 The @TGV_Lyria is the brand name used for TGV lines connecting France & Switzerland. In service today for TGV Lyria №9211 from #Paris🇫🇷 to #Zürich🇨🇭 a classical "EuroduplexLyria". The staff consists of one French and one Swiss train manager on the whole journey. The bar carriage was empty while departing and crowded wenn crossing the border at noon. #diningcar #Bahnzeit

🇫🇷🚄☕️ Today's consist of #TGVINOUi № 8922 from #LeCroisic🇫🇷 to #Paris🇫🇷 was a classical #SNCF class "TGV Atlantique" (TGV-A) high-speed train built in 1991 by #Alstom. They were the second generation of TGV trains, following on from the TGV Sud-Est. We left this beauty already in #SaintNazaire🇫🇷. Of course, it was time for a quick coffee☕️ in the bar carriage 😍! #diningcar

🇫🇷🚄 This is a #SNCF Z-TER (Z 21500), an electric multiple unit regional passenger train, manufactured by #Alstom and #Bombardier in service as TER 858381, today's afternoon "Aléoup"-service by the "Pays de la Loire" region from #Rennes🇫🇷 to #Nantes🇫🇷. Operated in double-traction, these trainsets have had seen better days for sure but are still working smoothly. I really love the bar stools, because of the #diningcar-feeling 😍!

🇫🇷🚄 The TGV "L’Océane" trains were introduced in 2017 as #SNCF's 3rd generation of TGV Duplex trains, in operation towards Bordeaux and Brittany. The bar carriage has wonderful small boothes with nice table lamps as well as standing tables 🤩!

The very new model "893" in service as #TGVINOUi №8636 arrived with +60min in #Guingamp🇫🇷 today. #diningcar #Bahnzeit
