Meeting at the MAC today (multi assistance center). So cool!

Summary: A philanthropist in SA has a daughter with disabilities. He created a new complex to address EVERYTHING anyone could ever need if they have disabilities. In one place!

Ex. PCP, dental, insurance, therapists, state services, haircuts, employment services, living independently, etc.

This is his second project. The first was Morgan's Wonderland, an accessibile theme park.

Getting this shot was a challenge! I couldn't go out on the deck or open my screen because of my cat, so I grabbed my zoom lens and leaned out my kitchen window lol it's so fluffy!

Spider silk, covered in dew like a royal necklace. I managed to get several wonderful photos of these webs. No sign of their builders at all that entire morning though. It was foggy and cool, there was dew on everything. A truly fantastic morning for a macro photographer

This is one of the first photos I took that I was really proud of, back in 2010. 19 and new to DSLR cameras, I was actually right outside my school, one of the art institutes. I didn't finish, but I've come a long way in my craft regardless.

This one I was focused on the flower's texture. The flower is a hot pink geranium, and the sun was bright, so the texture was drowning in the color, hence the black and white

You can tell at times when I wasn't able to use the viewfinder to take a macro shot because of weird focal points lol I'm glad I learned about focus stacking this year because of almost great photos like this buttercup
