And with that I'm done. From the streets of Dunwall to the centre of the Void. Absolutely love these games.

Each playable character feeling a bit different despite the similar skills is some fantastic development.

It was nowhere near a clean hands/ghost run of any of them, I need more practice for that.

I need another one of these games. The references to them in Deathloop were nice, and I will pick up the TTRPG, but I need another in this series. Maybe one day.

Dishonored 2 re-play.

Up to the Dust District now. So not much further to the time travel mansion, one of the best designed levels in all of gaming.

Ah, I just rediscovered my favourite thing they added in Dishonored 2. The chloroform bottles you can throw that act as knockout gas greneades.

Combining that with Domino is a great way to clear an area.

Got to check my saves to make sure I don't accidentally delete the New Game+ one with all the powers unlocked

First game was great, and the DLCs were good (Brigmore witches especially) but 2 is the game that cemented the series as one of my favourites of all time.

Continuing my Dishonored re-play.

I am so much worse at the Daud DLC levels than I am at the main game.
I got back into playing Corvo after a bit, but wow I am so messy at these.

I think it's lack of practice even before putting the game down for a bit. I just haven't learned these maps as well as the main game ones.

French warships of the time often utilized so-called whaleback design. Imagine a ship hull, but a bit... chubby, curved above the waterline towards the main deck.

You can see the same design with #Dishonored 2's cargo ship Dreadful Wale.

I started watching the new season of #ShadowAndBone and I realized two things:

1. There's some superficial similarity to #TheBrokenEarth.
2. Combined with #BladesInTheDark, #Thief, #Dishonored, #CarnivalRow, #TheIrregulars and a few others I've come to what must be the obvious realization that I really like this quasi-Victorian fantasy genre. Not steampunk_ mind you which doesn't really interest me.

I might start exploring what I can do #ttrpg-wise with this realization..

I’m playing Bethesda’s #Dishonored on Xbox Series X and I’m astounded at how well this game has held up after a decade.

The game easily achieves 120 FPS on today’s hardware, and I think that helps to give it a modern feel.

Most surprising is that the sound is mono, and the loudness-vs-distance mapping is not accurate. I’m surprised to learn how much I rely on surround sound to locate enemies in a first-person game, and how hard the job becomes when that cue is gone.

But yeah, what you describe is typical of the "DW family" ... a game that is very action-focused.

You might want to look into #BladesInTheDark, if you don't know it already.
Pretty much TheSprawl but fantasy... very #Dishonored.
It has a similar Job / Legwork / Mission cycle and it also handles the "gang" mechanically, as an extra PC.

I have a few problems with it, but a ton of people love it 😃

The protagonists of #Dishonored games are basically warlocks. Fight me
