Simulated visual hallucinations in virtual reality enhance divergent thinking.

We recently tested how the Ganzflicker experience, a method to elicit visual pseudo-hallucinations, impacts divergent thinking. It did exactly the opposite!

I guess the jury is still out on this hallucination-creativity connection.
