Indeed, the Democrats enacted a federal assault weapons ban when they could, in 1994. If we elect more Dems to Congress, they'll do it again.

In the meantime, ten blue states and DC have their own assault weapons bans. Because, in those states, people cared enough about human life to show up and vote for Democrats.
