Need to move a domain off Gandi, they're now the most expensive renewal I've seen for this tld (double)

narrowed it down to alwaysdata (alwaysdata.com) and ovh (ovhcloud.com)

anyone have experiences, opinions, endorsements or warnings for either of these companies?

If you were recommending someone buy a domain name, what registrar would you direct them to, and why?

Preferably one that can set them up with a landing page as well, to get them started as smoothly as possible.

Another aspect is ease-of-use of any control panel that they offer.
