Eventually, with all the experiments with #scanned #textures, #texturedtext, and #collageart the penny dropped. My experiments with deconstructed text actually were part of an #art genre, #asemicwriting. As it happens, my daughter is a #Downs person. She has communication difficulties, but one of the things she enjoys doing is writing-printing out word lists, sentences , and a variety of texts. She produces so much, I incorporated them in the scanned #collages. #asemicart
