Thinking it over, I did create something in 2022 after all. It's a little arcane I'm afraid.

In astronomy is a math expression created by astronomer Frank Drake
called the #DrakeEquation. Using 7 parameters estimated about our galaxy it calculates the likely number of concurrent civilizations in our #MilkyWay.

I created a program that uses ranges of the parameters to get thousands of estimates and do statistics on them.

Dr. Frank Drake wondered about the mathematic probability that we aren’t alone in the universe so he created what is known as the “Drake equation.” It factors in a number of variables, making seem impossible that we’re alone.
