The most notable trait here is the serration-less and prominent mesial twist of the carinae. Chisel-like denticles also distinguish it from cf. #Saurornitholestes.
Teeth of contemporary #tyrannosaurids like #Daspletosarus and #Gorgosaurus are commonly mistaken for them due to their mesial twist. But it's not too difficult to tell apart once you know what to look for.
