The sedum that’s growing out of the hens and chickens has a yellow flower. The Santa Barbara daisies are bursting with flowers. In the background are some California poppies and a salvia. All are drought tolerant too!

This one is my favorite: most mammals can metabolize water from food to some degree, but none with the efficiency of a #Pronghorn. Pronghorns regurgitate and rechew their food to break it down further and aid in digestion. Because of this extreme efficiency, pronghorns can go without a physical #water source for around 40 days, as long as food is available.

@Amber indeed! We usually get 4-5 flushes. This year 2-3. Was just too hot and we don't have the water they crave. People don't realize established rosea are drought tolerant. It just cuts back on their blooming. #roses
