Pictured is Fringed sage, or Artemisia frigida, with identifying text. It’s a native member of the asteraceae family and a pleasant substitute for endangered White Sage. It has a lovely scent while growing and is comparable to White sage when burned on charcoal. It supports wild bees while growing and provides winter food for deer and elk.
