Also! Make sure to check out the @BlackSocialists's #DualPowerApp project! They work with #CooperationJackson and the broader network of regional cooperatives to provide digital services to support local organizing. They're always looking for contributors!

@Zee @humanetech @BlackSocialists
I don't know enough about the #DualPowerApp to compare it with #FreeCoop.
@humanetech @csddumi I’m curious how you compare this to @BlackSocialists #DualPowerApp ?
@WeeMadHamish @sam @11backslashes
Ones that are still finding their footing:
- #DualPowerApp by @BlackSocialists supports the efforts of the #CooperationJackson (and other Cooperation networks)
- #BanChan (Artists Platform Cooperative) by @zkat
- #Ampled: https://www.ampled.com
Two established ones:
- OCLC https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/OCLC
- DATEV https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DATEV are both relatively large Rochdale cooperatives.

@mood @11backslashes if you’re just looking to contribute to own, I would talk to @zkat about #BanChan, or the @BlackSocialists about #DualPowerApp.
Both are working hard to make cooperatively owned software for a niche audience.
I’m working on #Convene and #ZincCoop, but we move at a much slower pace and aren’t likely to be able to pay anyone anything unless someone joins who is excited about customer development and community building.

@serdargunes die #DualPowerApp scheint auf gutem Kurs zu sein: https://dualpower.app/

Ah sorry I was responding to the "Have you seen other projects with similar visions..."
I have roughly categorized projects into three groups:
1. Supporting a _particular_ socioeconomic niche (i.e. @zkat's project for artists, @resonatecoop, most platform cooperatives)
2. Broader platforms for the solidarity economy (#Bonfire, @BlackSocialists's #DualPowerApp, #Convene)
3. Technocrats (SSB, Matrix, etc)
