I love the buzz in #DublinAirport for an early flight on a nice morning

A few months back I collected a friend from #DublinAirport and there was this kid whose parents were allowing to mash the piano in arrivals driving everyone else demented. When he eventually stopped this little girl (younger than kid 1) sat at the piano (unprompted) and played a classical piece all the time glaring at the other kid. The #EpicShade has stayed with me.

No need to take any thing out of bag even partially consumed bottle of water (<100ml left, but container is 500ml) got through with no issues.

Such a contrast v #SeaTac on Monday.
Security line was perhaps 10 people in Dublin not Seattle's 45 mins.
Europeans would protest & it would be headlines if airport security routinely took over 15-20 minutes even outside of peak times.
Can't get over how passive USians are on some things.

Ryanair still talking about building a third terminal at Dublin Airport and want to take it out of State control. This is madness.

If we really want to tackle the capacity issues at the airport we need to bring in a frequent flyer levy. This will also help in reducing carbon emissions from aviation by taxing the wealthiest in our society.

At least five flights circling on approach routes to Dublin Airport due to drones being flown within the 5km exclusion zone.

Some appear to be diverting (possibly to Belfast and to Cork or Shannon).
