Been pondering which browser to switch to as a backup (as a former DuckDuckGo + Chrome guy). It doesn’t matter to me hugely, but Safari is looking very tempting as it’s already my second choice on iPhone (after DuckDuckGo). Seriously, if you’re on an iPhone and hate ads and tracking, you should already be using #DuckDuckGo’s iOS browser.

Like many, I officially switched from Chrome to #Firefox. I also changed default search engine from Google to #DuckDuckGo.

I hadn't used Firefox in years and wow, it's improved so much. Loving containers so I don't have to have multiple browsers/profiles. After a full work day, there's nothing I'm missing.

If the search engine is really privacy focussed, those results aren’t pertinent and consequently, shouldn’t be listed at all.

Just great. Now Duck Duck Go is putting ads on the top of search pages. Any other search engine out there that doesn't do this? They are identified as ads and my ad blockers block them, but still.

As much as one can criticize #duckDuckGo for a lot of their search results being bad [don't use them for anything re: #trans #healthcare cuz they'll vomit up #transmisogynist #hate #propaganda] they at least know how to make their #InstantAnswers work and spit out the correct result to something from #StackOverflow / #ServerFault 97,5% of the time...

Blokování reklam není dostatečně agresivní, nelze doinstalovat uBlock Origin a jste nuceni používat DuckDuckGo vyhledávač. Já ale chci @xoogle 😀 Chybí i dost nastavení, ale stále je ve verzi beta.
