Chevre, this week’s parsha is בְּמִדְבַּר (Bamidbar) and today is Yom Yerushalayim. So today is the day in 1967 that Jerusalem was reunified after 19 years of being split. We have a more holiday like atmosphere including Hallel and special meals.

1\ Chevre, this week’s parsha is תַּזְרִיעַּ - מְצֹרָע (Tazria - Metzora) and it’s Rosh Chodesh (Friday and Shabbat). Most of our double portion is talking about Tzarat, which doesn’t have a good translation into English, but is usually translated as leprosy.
