A little #DwarfFortress roleplay from yesterday’s session

In the waterlogged caverns, in a grotto of shiny black stone, we found it. A treasure of the gods: Mawatebeÿa, the fabled spear.

Unwieldy in the hand, it is strangely thick, the fingers barely able to close around the shaft. Would that we knew the mind of its long lost creator, for the reason behind its design cannot be guessed. No dwarf, human, elf, or goblin could comfortably wield it.

It’s been one year since we pounded sand
Showed up with a goal to settle this land
One year since we got a clue
That aquifers are really tough to dig through

And here’s the creature that gave One-hand his nickname, the forgotten beast Ofo. Its remains are on display in the tavern after the warrior dwarf Mole cleaved its body nearly in half.

Finally got around to drawing my favorite dwarf Vabôk “One-hand” Ralturel from my stream fortress Orbvales, shown here wearing badly made copper armor from our amateur armorsmith.

His left hand (I messed up) was torn off by Ofo, a monster made of living stone, and instead of going to the doctor, he went straight to the tavern for a drink. To this day I don’t think he ever got that looked at. He’s 29 here and has a daughter, Thîkut.
