I really enjoyed listening to the latest episode of #ECFR Mark Leonard’s “World in 30 minutes, on how #Europe shifted from post WW2/cold war to post Berlin wall and into post February 24, 2022 and what it means for the future of our continent.

Ivan Krastev’s view was especially insightful for me. Highly recommended 30 min listening.

Demnach hat der Krieg zwar dazu geführt, dass die #EU so geeint ist wie kaum jemals zuvor.

Die Europäer sind im Umgang mit 🇷🇺 aber längst nicht so einig, wie ihre Regierungen.

Bsp: 🇩🇪

- 20% sehen die Schuld am Krieg bei der 🇺🇦 /🇪🇺 /🇺🇸 🙄

- 49% "Friedenslager"
(wollen Ende des Krieges, auch wenn 🇺🇦 dafür Zugeständnisse machen muss)

-19% "Gerechtigkeitslager"
(nur deutliche Niederlage 🇷🇺 führt zu 🕊️)
