Another step forward in connecting the #WesternBalkans with the EU!
Today, 🇷🇸#Serbia & the 🇪🇺#EU inaugurated the 1st section of the Peace Highway in southern Serbia, part of the #EIP.
The 33 km long Niš –Pločnik section is financed with a @TheWBIF grant of over €40 million.

Since 2021, we committed €9b EU-funds to support 359 investment projects but more need to come.
In my keynote at HL Conf on implementation of the 3️⃣#EIP organized for the private sector I urged the business community to help as we need to speed up the flagship projects.
