Anybody got a good guide to adding NodeGroup AutoScaling to an existing eksctl created AWS EKS cluster?

I'm working through the eksctl and AWS doc and they all appear to assume you enabled it at creation time.

Anybody in #AWS land know if there is a standard IAM Policy that will allow a user to create a new EKS cluster? Or docs for what I would permission I would need to create my own? Searching tends to throw up how to set up policies for apps running in the cluster.

I asked about a week ago about what to do when you hit the 100 rule limit and was informed that you can get that limit raised, I got AWS to raise it to 200, but I still can't create more than 100 Ingress objects, once I hit 100 the new ones don't get an external Address assigned. Any suggestions

Any #Kubernetes folk at #AWS Re:Invent want to grab a #EKS ALB person and ask how to setup custom error pages? E.g. A nice page for when a service is unavailable to replace the default 504 error

Managed Kubernetes, like Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service, is wonderful. But comparing #EKS to other AWS services, and considering them on the same level, is a mistake. Kubernetes is a different game entirely — it is a whole new way of working with computers, and there is a learning curve, a steep one, even just to comprehend the distributed architecture.

When you're at a tech social event with a bunch of people from other companies who all use #EKS and they keep talking about #eksutil and #ECR, but you did #KubernetesTheHardWay with #terraform and you've never touched EKS in your life (or #GKE, or #AKS, or any other hosted #Kubernetes solution, for that matter 😅)
