This article changed my approach to care

It asks deep questions about the difference between EOL Work-as-imagined and Work as ACTUALLY carried out at these hospitals

Another paper I missed:

pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/299025

Inter-Rater Agreement of Intensivists Evaluating the Goal Concordance of Preference-Sensitive Interventions [via chart-review]

I might summarize as 💩

"Percent agreement between pairs of raters ranged from 59% to 86%. The intraclass correlation coefficient for ratings of goal concordance was 0.50 (95% CI 0.31-0.69) and was robust to patient age, gender, ICU, severity of illness, and lengths of stay"

May 2020 from so I know why I missed it, but...

"Physician Self-assessment of in Simulated Intensive Care Unit Family Meetings"

"33 participants (43%) reported that they offered care focused on comfort, but blinded colleagues rated only 1 (4%) as explaining this option in a clear manner"

I agree, and look forward avoiding the web stack, in particular web browser; because they are slow, bloated, in the control of companies that are not aligned with what the world needs, and if not impossible, web browser are very difficult to understand, and develop for.

Also, the mentioned problem, it also astray into the cosmos of late capitalism, and . It used to be called 'open' platform, is not anymore.

The sheer amount of effort, and money explains why the web stack is still around.

I know both ruby, and python are slow. I do not know about JavaScript perfomance.

The biggest problem I have with those PL, and their implementations is the heritage of "good enough" and "worse is better".

Those approaches have a silverlining, their army are the biggest.

Tho, the consequence can be dire such as
