I use both #Mastodon and the bird site for work purposes only, and often propagate info via both methods. However, I just realised a big turning point in how I use these sites has quietly crept up on me...
In the past week, I've started coming to Mastodon 1st, and twitter 2nd for reading & writing. It still isn't perfect, research infrastructures & orgs (e.g. #ELIXIR and #EOSC) are still only on that bird site many of us have moved from), and I need them for work. But it's a start! @fairsharing

The EOSC Future project is initiating a new €1.4M call for proposals for ‘digital aggregators’ (e.g. non-profit entities, #NRENs, Research Infrastructures and e-Infrastructures, HPC centres, etc.) to collaborate with OCRE service providers and drive the uptake of cloud services within the European #research community!

Proposals should demonstrate a concrete approach to distributing state-of-the-art digital services via the #EOSC.
