Why am I not surprised? #COP27 is corrupted at a global scale. Despite ‘loss and damage’ focus there have been more oil and gas lobbyists than ever, delegates from the most vulnerable countries are a minority! Greenhouse gas emissions have continued to rise this year, research published this week has shown, despite stark warnings from #climate scientists in the past year. Not mentioned are the gigantic methane plumes in #Siberia #Yamal #Gydan #ESAS
Even the #permafrost thawing is happening at alarming speed, but is downplayed! Or that the warming in Europe is double that of the global warming trend! Sadly the developing countries are paying with lives for the #greed and indifference of the #G20 #Wallstreet #Forbes500 business mafia!
