Yesterday our research team met up for lunch in person for the 1st time. We were all excited to discuss research and our “journey” with coding #rstats.

A few of us discovered we subscribe to Statistics of DOOM run by Dr. Erin Buchanan. “Her [Erin] videos are 1-hour long but she breaks everything down for you”, said one student.

After lunch we had research meeting to discuss #ESRC projects with UGR RAs. The day was long but I got myself some chocolate cake from the staff lounge. It’s a win!

Starting June 2022, I had the opportunity to build my own team after I successfully secured the #ESRC New Investigator grant.

I wrote a blog post to describe the process since June when I started learning to take on this PI role and build my team. Summary of key points:
