At the #EUAACF we had a short discussion on why we don't use the EU term "temporary protection" for Ukrainian refugees, but the old term "Vertriebenensstatus" which orginally refers to end of WII Nazi German occupiers and minorities that left Eastern territory. Well, maybe it still sounds better for some to be a victim than a war criminal.🤷

Pleased to see that the @europarl_en push to keep the Consultative Forum in the original EASO regulation is still bearing fruit.
