This talk is packed with insight, and I loved Leptin's idea for faculty up for #tenure to identify their 10 most important works and evaluating that holistically, rather than algorithmically making decisions based on citations and impact factor. Today I endeavour on a small train odyssey going from Strasbourg to Florence to attend the Solidarity in Europe conference at the #EUI in #Florence. 3 different train companies. I already had to avoid the French #TER due to the general strike taking place today. Now on board the German ICE275 to Basel. The train has an "interlocking malfunction" (whatever that is), but seems to be running smoothly for now 💪
