The #EU phone book now only shows who heads a unit, not who works in it.

Why is this important?

Because:
When things get serious and technical, you want to be able to talk to the person actually putting pen to paper.
If this is not public, only lobbyists with a big and updated database and enough people to go around and cultivate the network will know who to turn to. This is beyond most small NGOs.

So, let us all ask the Commission to get back to the old levels of transparency.

I think there are two main approaches:
1) coops which actually host the instances (or a meta-coop which federates them) also host a process to manage the moderation;
2) instances of all sorts participate in the burden of moderation through a service coop which buys/sells services to facilitate it.
