I’m only catching the occasional vignette of this #Earthshot programme while I’m cooking in the next room, but the celebrity appearances and musical numbers have a very “this is fiiiiiiine” vibe.
There should be more visible hysteria.

Much of the buzz around the Prince & Princess of Wales visit to Boston has been the typical celebrity stuff. What star was at the event, who they met with, etc.

Not my cup of tea, (other than their visit to Roca, a great local nonprofit). But the #Earthshot prize they were here to give out is pretty cool. Great diversity of ideas and innovators represented in the 5 winners, worth a look!

My #EarthShot idea: we disband the royal family and the fleet of private plains, trains and automobiles they use to fuck about around the world.

Last year they made a huge deal of the #EarthShot prize - hours of live coverage on the BBC over a whole weekend.

This year, nothing.

No scheduled UK TV coverage at all.

Guess we must have solved the #ClimateCrisis and all the other environmental issues in 2021
