#NFO America is a 🇬🇧/🇺🇸 #rock band formed in #London in 1970 by Dewey Bunnell, Dan Peek & Gerry Beckley, all Americans. The trio met as sons of US Air Force personnel stationed in #London, where they began performing live.

I was living near #USAF Bases in Europe at the same time.

I always like at the mainland from islands (or boats), because you never see this stuff. You can't drive to see this.

We came from other direction, a few kilometers in a canoe It turned into 97 acre island, and an all-day hike.

There's #100WildIslands down the #EasternShore of #Halifax.

Some are bigger than this.

I don't have big boats;f but that would also restrict access. So we 'island hop', exploring each one we see along the coastline. This is Harrigan Cove, HRM, Nova Scotia #WAYCTV

Do you ever go Beachcombing?

The #EasternShore of #Halifax has #100WildIslands. We visit some of the inner ones (small boat) to explore them. Sometimes I plant & leave two fruit trees behind. Deer Apples or snacks for human visitors.

I brought a bigger piece of driftwood back for a display on my lawn. Besides picking up garbage, we return with many treasures from each day exploring.

I see the ice creeping up the Marsh. In the last few years, it's ripped 4x12ft sections away. Besides losing the carbon sink, I'm 20 meters from high tide. Can't be taking away my shoreline like that.

BTW. # 7 Highway #EasternShore lost another merchant. After Sheet Harbour the next Food or Gasoline is in Sherbrooke, NS. The Pizza-convenience in #PortDufferin is gone . Used to be a Payphone there once, still no cellular service, or Pizza now.
Next convenience is #Gizmo's Variety (With #NSLC select) in Moser River, and still no gas stations for 80 kms or so..
But, still has its #Scenic charm. With or without a store. #WAYCTV

Another beautiful drive down the #EasternShore of #Halifax. The sky had all these amazing patterns and colours all day. #Ocean

Meanwhile, further inland, Middle #Musquodoboit to Goffs is white, and mostly ice. Doesn't look like it, but it's stuck there, try your brakes? RWD in a tiny pickup, it was a slippery drive #HfxTraffic #WX Not a flurry on the #7 to #NecumTeuch, but hwy 212 from the Airport is a big white surprise. Drive safe.
